When Carrie Underwood first made her debut on American idol, her style was memorable. Unfortunately, the memories weren't good. Her style reflected her Southern roots with lots of denim and bold colors. Her dresses weren't complimentary to her figure- too full or ruffled in the wrong areas or too loose on her small figure. During her time on American Idol, her style gradually began to change for the better. Once she entered the professional music scene, she finally got her style together. Carrie said goodbye to the ill-fitting dresses and upgraded to beautiful form-fitting gowns. She started to wear colors that complimented her fair skin and blonde hair. Gone are the days of boring fashion since she's stepped up her style. She is always a beauty at red carpet events and is frequently included on best dressed lists. #1
