No stranger to dating sports stars, Kim Kardashian had another relationship with basketball player Kris Humphries. As usual for Kim, this relationship was highly publicized with frequent appearances at his basketball games, numerous public outings, and a key fixture in the Kardashian empire of reality series. After about a year in to their relationship, Kris proposed to Kim and they quickly tied the knot in a lavish, highly publicized (of course!) wedding a few months later. While some believed this relationship would last forever, it was the common belief that the relationship and marriage was just a publicity stunt and it would eventually end.
Of course, the relationship ended eventually, which is not surprising in the least. What was surprising was how quickly divorce papers were filed- after only 72 DAYS of marriage. Days, not years, months, or even weeks- 72 days! With this brevity of a marriage, many have concluded it was just a staged publicity stunt to increase the family’s publicity. What was supposed to be a happily ever after for Kim and Kris has just resulted in a bitter divorce. After this ending to another one of her relationships with a sports star, maybe it’s no wonder that Kim has branched out to dating a music star, none other than Kanye West?
